Empty Seat Tracker overview
The Empty Seat Tracker
allows you to view a live sample of which stations do and do not currently have
associates logged into them (via the Avaya Phone). The data the Empty Seat
Tracker uses is updated every sixty seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Why is a station green when an associate is
sitting there?
A: The associate is not
logged into the Avaya phone, or was not logged in at the time you clicked the
Refresh Now link. The
Empty Seat tracker uses Avaya CMS to determine if a station is available or
not.
- Q: Why is a station red when no one is sitting
there?
A: An associate is still logged into
that Avaya phone, or was logged in at the time you clicked the
Refresh Now link. The
Empty Seat tracker uses Avaya CMS to determine if a station is available or
not.
- Q: Why is a station listed in
black?
- A: Stations with known issues (broken
headset, computer error) are shown in black to distinguish them
as not available. Stations that have been closed have also been marked
black.
- Q: I've discovered a broken seat, how do
I report it?
A: Click the Report a
broken station... link and complete the email message which
appears.
- Q: The Empty Seat Tracker says there are dozens
of empty seats, why can't I find them?
A: If selected in the
options, the tracker will allow you to use WiFi and Transition seating, and
empty seats in these areas will be reflected in the seat count at the
top-left.
- Q: I still have questions.
