Modern development release notes are lacking to say the least.

Most applications decline to provide any release notes at all. You just receive constant updates and never know what they are.

Or they just add boilerplate text: general bug fixes and improvements.  As opposed to what?

No useful info at all.

Yelp really takes the cake though. They manage to write an 8-line paragraph which conveys the same meaning as Google’s two words above.

Also no useful info, but wasted your time with a big paragraph.
