Here’s an assortment of themes I’ve created over the years. Just download and open to apply it to your desktop. You can further adjust and customize your sounds, cursors, and color settings: just right-click your desktop wallpaper and choose Personalize.

Curious how these work?
A .themepack (or .deskthemepack) file is really just a .cab (Microsoft Cabinet file, similar to a ZIP) that has been renamed. If you rename the .themepack to .cab and double-click to browse it, inside you will find all the constituent components of the theme: all the sounds, wallpaper, cursors, and a .theme settings file.

Similarly, a .theme settings file is really just a .txt (text) file. Rename the .theme to .txt and double-click to open it in Notepad and view the raw details. When a theme file is opened, Windows reads these settings and applies them to the desktop.
